MarketSight - Creating Users


The first step in granting someone access to MarketSight content is to give them a user login. When making new users, account administrators should consider what type of user they would like to make. They can choose between:

  • Full access
    • Allows users to create content within MarketSight, but can only be made if the overall account has enough licenses.
  • Read-only
    • Allows users to see MarketSight items directly within the MarketSight interface, but prevents them from making modifications to content.
  • Key Findings
    • Allows users to see selected content which has been shared with them via the Key Findings portal.  They are unable to make modifications to that content.

After creating new users, your next step is to create groups.

Create New Users

  1. Click your login in the upper right corner
  2. Select Admin
  3. On the list of users, click New
  4. Fill in required information
  5. On the Permissions tab, specify their access level
  6. Click OK
