Searching in MarketSight

Overview

MarketSight offers the ability to search at an item level, the dataset level, or at a global level.

Search for a Specific Item

1. Open the list page for the type of item you are looking for (such as variables)
2. Enter your search term in the box immediately above the list
3. Hit enter to see the filtered results

Search Within a Single Dataset

1. Go to Datasets
2. Choose your dataset in the left pane if not already selected
3. Enter your search term in the box immediately above the list
4. Hit enter to see the filtered results

Search Globally (All Items and Al Datasets)

1. Click in the Search box in the far upper right corner of MarketSight
2. Enter your search term
3. Hit enter to see a list of results from your entire MarketSight account
