This article will show you how to search for specific respondents in the system

Background

You may have the need to search for specific respondents in the system for a number of reasons such as:

  • Confirming a respondent status
  • Removing a respondent from the live data should you want to remove it from the live data set
  • Updating a respondent status and providing a specific term code

Search for a Specific Respondent

  1. You can use the 'Look up a respondent by' drop-down and select one of 2 options
    1. ID - Critical Mix ID (default)
    2. TOKEN - the respondent passcode 
  2. Type your search criteria in the search field
    1. You now have the option to add in multiple criteria at once by comma delimiting the list
  3. Click on the magnifying glass icon to search 
  4. The respondents matching that criteria will be listed at the bottom of the screen in the RESULTS section

Use Filters to Find Groups of Respondents

You can use an assortment of filters to narrow searches down. All the respondents fitting your criteria will then appear.

  1. Qualification Codes: List of both built in and conditional coding based on programming
  2. Survey Status: Respondent Survey Status
    1. All (default)
    2. Complete 
    3. Terminated
    4. In-process
  3. Sample Source: Conditional list of Sample Sources based on programming
    1. All (default)
  4. Locale: This is a data range search
  5. Respondent Type: Conditional list of Locales based on programming
    1. All (default)

Should you need to, you can copy and paste the results into Excel


Results

This section will show you a list of all the respondents that fit your search/filter criteria: 

  1. Last Activity: Date and time of last activity for each respondent
  2. ID: Critical Mix ID
  3. TOKEN - Respondent passcode
  4. STATUS - respondent status
  5. SOURCE - is the sample source
  6. LOCALE - language version
  7. LAST ACTIVITY - date of last activity by the respondent
  8. TEST - Test (Y) and Live (N)

Edit Qualifications

You can update the status of one or more respondents as needed. 

  1. Search for your respondents
  2. Select the checkbox to the left for each one you want to update with the same criteria 

  3. Click on the 'Edit Qualifications' button 

  4. The following screen will then appear 

  5. Use the 'Edit Status' drop-down to update the respondent status as needed. Your options are: 

    1. IN-PROCESS
    2. COMPLETE
    3. TERMINATED - Here you can also flag respondents with
