Exporting Data Layouts

This article will show you how to create and save a Export a Data Layout

You may need to Import and/or Export a data layout for a variety of reasons. This feature allows you to export a layout in Excel for easy modification locally on your machine. It will allow you to:

  • You can easily sort 
  • Add or remove questions and/or variables
  • Keep the saved file on your machine for future use

Note:

  • Please note that at the moment you CANNOT download a layout from one survey and upload it to another. This feature only works in the same survey

Exporting a Layout

  1. If you haven't already created and saved a 'Layout'
  2. Click on 'Export Files' section of your survey
  3. Select the saved layout from the drop-down 

  4. Click on the 'Export Selected XLSX Layout' button 

  5. The XLSX file will then be downloaded to your computer
