Questions Library: Add a Question Template
This article will show you how to use Questions Templates within Questions Library Management
You add, modify or delete questions templates within any Library you have the ability to EDIT.
Add a Question Template
There are 2 ways to add a Question Template:
- Via the Questions Library Management Screen
- Search for your Library you to add it to (see Questions Library Management: Searching for a Library)
- Once you are in the Library you want to add a Question Template to, click on any of the edit (pencil) icons
- This will open a survey with all of the questions from that Library as well as the specific Question Card you clicked on the edit icon for
- Close the question card.
- Now you can add a question. Since this is a survey, you have access to all of the other questions within this Library so you can edit any of the others here as well without having to go back. (See Working with Questions for help)
- Once you are done, everyone with access to this Library and tries to use it, will have access to it this updated version going forward unless it gets edited again.
- You can now close out of the survey

- If you have created the question already and you want to add it to an existing Library, click on the icon with 3 dots next to the question you want to add
- Select 'Save as Template' from the menu that pops up
- Click on the Library you want to add it to. Once you do that, the Library name will also appear on the top right
- Now name your Question Template by entering a name in the 'Description' field
- Click on the 'SAVE' button when you are done
- Your Question Template has been added and can be used by anyone with the permission to use it
Modify a Question Template
- If you have not used the Questions Library Management interface, please see: Questions Library: Getting Started
- Search for your Library (see Questions Library Management: Searching for a Library)
- Search for your Question Template (see Questions Library Management: Find a Question Template)
- Once you find the specific Question you want, click on the edit (pencil) icon.
- This will open a survey with all of the questions from that Library as well as the specific Question Card you are trying to edit
- You can now edit the question as you see fit. Since this is a survey, you have access to all of the other questions within this Library so you can edit any of the others here as well without having to go back. You can even add new ones if needed. (See Working with Questions for help)
- Once you are done, everyone with access to this Library and tries to use it, will get this updated version going forward unless it gets edited again.
- You can now close out of the survey
Delete a Question Template

- Search for your Library (see Questions Library Management: Searching for a Library)
- Search for your Question Template (see Questions Library Management: Find a Question Template)
- Once you find the specific Question you want, click on the delete (trash can) icon.
- A confirmation screen will pop up. Click on the 'DELETE' button and the question template will be gone
