Advanced Question: Passcode

This article will show you how to add a passcode question.

Background

In some instances you may need to have a respondent enter their passcode manually. This can be used for a variety of reasons but below is a common list of uses:

  • Mailing out invites with a generic link for everyone and you provide a unique passcode for each person to type in
  • Surveys are being done on the same device on site and each person will have a unique passcode to type in. Examples: Mall Intercepts, CLTs (Central Location Tests)
  • Provided digital fingerprinting is not enabled, this question type now has the ability to resume should the same passcode be entered and the survey has not become either a term or complete.
