Testing a Survey Manually
This article will explain how to test through your survey.
Background
One of the most important parts of verifying your programming is testing your survey. Testing your survey will allow you to:
- To see what a real respondent would see
- Confirm all of your questions have been programmed
- Verify logic for skip patterns, termination points as well as other qualifications
Accessing the Test Link
There are a few different ways to access you test link:
- From the 'Survey Dashboard'

- Click on 'Preview & Test' on the menu on the left. This will open the default testing link in a new tab
- From the 'Survey Links' of the 'Fielding' section

- Click on 'Survey Links' on the menu on the left. The main screen will then contain all of the testing links available depending on the 'Sample Source' and 'Locale' combinations
- From the 'Build & Edit' Tool while programming
- Click on 'Manage & Monitor'
- From the 'Quick Access Menu'
